Disability, Pregnancy & Parenthood international

Empowering parents

Empowering Parents is a three year DPPI initiative that will produce two guides on pregnancy, birth and early baby care for physically disabled parents.

Are you a disabled parent or professional working with disabled parents?

DPPI seeks your views and experiences of maternity services to assist in the development of the guides.  For example:

We will be holding a meeting on Monday 14 July 2008, from 11am to 1pm at the Wesley Chapel, 49 City Road, London EC1Y 1AU.

We are particularly interested to hear from: disabled parents with recent experience of maternity services; disabled parents from Black and minority ethnic communities; midwives, health visitors and other health professionals and representatives of voluntary sector organisations.
